A LETTER
On writing, attention, and the quiet work of making meaning
I write because I’m trying to look more closely. At a sentence, at a room, at the way a day turns without announcing itself. Most of my work begins with a question I can’t quite let go of, and ends with a voice I finally recognize on the page. This site is a simple place to share that work as it grows—books, essays, and occasional notes from the desk.
I’m drawn to stories that hold tension in plain sight: what’s said versus what’s meant, what we inherit versus what we choose. Whether I’m working in fiction or nonfiction, I care about clarity, rhythm, and the emotional truth that survives revision.
